Kendo Squad![]() Kendo Squad Training & ScheduleSquad training sessions are usually held once a month. These take place over a weekend. Anyone interested in being involved with the squad is welcome to attend. There is a charge of £3 per session to help cover costs. Dates for squad sessions can be found in the calendar above. We particularly want to encourage more women to come and join the squad. Note that the venue will change depending upon the month. Location: Coventry - The Alan Higgs Centre Directions to The Alan Higgs Centre By car from the M6: - Exit at Junction 3 of f the M6 and take exit off the roundabou signposted Coventry; Holbrooks A444. By car from the Coventry City Centre Ring Road (anti-clockwise); - Exit the Ring Road at junction 4 and take the exit signposted A4114 London Road. Location: Tora Dojo, London Location: Nenriki Dojo, London Location: Birmingham University (Munrow sports centre) Directions to Munrow Sports Centre. By Car: Follow the directions provided and turn from the Bristol Road (A38) onto Edgbaston Park Road and turn left at the University's East Gate. From there you will be directed by security around the University ring road to the Munrow Sports Centre, which is located in the North-West of central campus (Building 30 on the University map). The designated car park for the Munrow Sports Centre is the North Car Park, which is situated to the north-east of the sports centre. To reach the car park, don't enter campus at the East Gate but carry on up Edgbaston Park Rd and turn left at Pritchatts Rd the North Car Park is on the left. By Rail: The majority of inter-city services to Birmingham arrive at New Street station. At least four trains depart from New Street station each hour for University station (final destination usually: Longbridge or Redditch).
